Back Up Plan

We had my niece Hannah over yesterday for a playdate. She and Megan are the same age - 9 - with only 2 1/2 months between them, so they have a blast together. When the playdate was over I was driving her home and she volunteered, "I know what I'm going to do for college."

Me: "Wow. What is that?"

Hannah: "Well, I'm going to be there seven years, because I'm going to learn to be a vet and a fashion designer."

Me: "Wow... both of them?"

Hannah: "Yes. That way, when I'm a fashion designer, when I get fired, or I quit my job, I'll have something to fall back on."

By the way, she's still deciding on which colleges to consider...
